I watched the first 2 episodes of Conan and I have to say I'm kind of sad. Is he funny? Sure. But it feels far to famliar. I get why he had to conform to Tonight Show for the sake of tradition but now he has a show where he can do whatever he wants, this is his chance to shake up the formula a bit, he can make it part variety show, focus more on sketches, etc and instead if feels like The Tonight Show 2.0 which is somewhat disappointing. Even the music the band plays at the end of the show is exactly the same as it has been for the last 20 years. In a way George Lopez's show is more rewarding because at least he doesn't have the desk.

I don't think the Statue of Liberty was bronze, I think it is still copper like we had only it never oxidized and turned green.

I'm a little disappointed that the episode title was Bad Reputation and there wasn't a cover of Joan Jett or Thin Lizzy in sight.

Prequels? I don't know what you're talking about.

I will say two words and you will all know what exactly I'm talking about, that's how freaking pimp this line is.

I'm with you. I watch an episode of Scrubs from season 6 the other day and there was a reference to the election that was already dated.

Maybe they are getting better at hiding it, maybe my ears are just getting used to it, but there seemed to be less auto-tune this week and it was a good thing.
