HTC EVO 4G training begins at Sprint, reveals a few surprises

I wonder how android handles the 4G modem. Has it had support for it all along, or did HTC or Google have to write it in special?

Also, I wounder what the notification bar says for a 4G signal. Probably just "4G" I guess. Maybe "Max" or "WM"? It says just "E" for Edge which is kind of weird...

FCC outlines new 'third way' internet regulatory plan, will split access from content

May 6th 2010 2:04PM (Engadget)
@Alex McKee

So here's what I think I take from this. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, it's a good thing. Basically, the way that the FCC used to define the internet somehow prohibited them from forcing net neutrality into effect. Now, they basically re-defined where the internet belongs in terms of media/information flow and now can FORCE net neutrality into effect.

So, essentially they are regulating the internet MORE, to force companies to have LESS control. Again in essence they are forcing net neutrality into existence. SO yeah, I see this as a good thing.

Anybody care to confirm/deny my interpretation?
