Mario Trump cards trump most other cards

@Takahashi This set of plastic Super Mario trump cards is set for release only in Japan. Yes, the playing cards here in Japan are typically all manufactured from high-quality PET plastic. They cost a bit more than paper cards, but are extremely durable and waterproof too.

>1600 seems a little slim. not even sure what image quality really means.

it's designed for studio work. You have total control over the light in a studio, so high-iso is not necessary.

>Seriously, the 9-point AF is very disappointing and 3.9fps is awful slow.

I'm a 5D shooter and I rarely have a need to use more than ONE AF point (the one in the middle) and same with a few of my 5D friends.

Also, only rarely have i wished the 5D was faster. I don't shoot sports, so the speed hasn't bothered me. Maybe if I shot with a 10 FPS camera for a while, I'd miss it if you took it away, but 3.9 FPS is more than adequate for most of the shooting that I've ever done.

Sony's GPS-CS1 provides GPS for cameras

Sep 13th 2006 12:14AM (Engadget)
How accurate are these GPS things? I've never owned one, but I might be interested in one for a walking tour I'm producing. Can anyone recommend a better/cheaper unit, if this Sony is not the best way to go?

Thanks!
