McNamara explains why LA Noire's Cole seemed like a 'psycho'

@Zal
Yey, me too! Nice to see that Bradford finally got something going for it.

And some of those bloopers were ace. They should've left them in the game in some form of bonus or something.

If they build on that, then it'll probably be the best setlist since #3 (if you exclude Metallica).

At least as a matter of personal opinion.

Women in Games conference canceled due to 'low delegate numbers'

I have a friend who does games design (or something along those lines) at Bradford College, and the way he makes it out is that he spends most of the day playing CoD4.

It's a shame they didn't advertise this better, because all Bradford seems to have going for it at the moment is a dirty great big crater and a smoudering pile of rubble in the town centre. Oh, and the Jesus Man.

UK retailers confident in strong 2010 games sales

Looks to me like SA80 assault rifles. They're the standard in the British Army.

TIGA delivers petition for tax relief to UK government

Dec 8th 2009 6:57AM (Joystiq)
It might be a bit of an exaggeration, but the totalitarian bit isn't. Our Prime Minister was not elected by the people, we had no say on Europe, and there are more CCTV cameras in the UK per person than anywhere else in the world, and cops using anti-terror laws against people who drop litter, and the re-branding of legitimate protesters as "Domestic Extremists"... Like I said, I could go on forever.

TIGA delivers petition for tax relief to UK government

Dec 8th 2009 6:31AM (Joystiq)
Britain turned into a communist/socialist society long ago (and is well on the way to totalitarian) without anyone really noticing. They tax those who try and do an honest day's work and give it to the lazy scroungers who have never done anything for anyone, ever, and they somehow have more money than the decent people who try to earn a living honestly. That's not to mention all the moron MPs who use our taxes to have their moats cleaned and what not. I'm going to stop here because I could go on forever.

Lara Croft may have road named in her honor

Holy crap, I live in Derby (well I do right now, I go to Uni here), and in all honesty it's a craphole. But then so are a whole load of cities up and down England (damn recession).
Lara Croft Way though? I was never really a Tomb Raider fan but the recognition is quite awesome.
