13 Old Cartoons You Didn't Think Anyone Else Watched

Oct 23rd 2010 2:25PM (Urlesque)
Synergy and the Missfits were on Jem. Synergy was the entity thing that transformed Jerica to Jem, and the Missfits where the rival band to Jem and the Holograms.

Now if only I could get on a Jeopardy episode with an 80s cartoon category, I'd be set.

'Nikita' Season 1, Episode 5 Recap (VIDEO)

I for one freaking love this show.

Kate Winslet Steps Out With a New Man

Aug 23rd 2010 9:38AM (PopEater)
LOL, that's what I'm saying! I kinda think they're MFEO (made for each other). Crazy kids...

In the meantime, though, this dude is HOTT and they do look quite good together.

Julia Roberts Derides Botox, Talks Hindu Faith

It's probably BECAUSE she's smart that she got "sucked in" to a viable ancient religion. If you actually took the time to read about it (try the Bhagavad Gita) you'd see it explores real human emotion and divine wisdom alike, much of it similar to what Christ would teach.

Snoop Dogg Eyes Cameo on British Soap Opera

Street Cred... you're doing it wrong. (Which is okay by me, I love his "Oh Sookie" video!)

11 Things That Annoy the Boss

Jul 2nd 2010 3:35PM (AOL Jobs)
I disagree. Maybe if the person has been on the job a long time and is asking questions about routine procedures, that's one thing, but I have a wonderful habit of trying to find my own answers and then often being WRONG because of some trifling detail. It would've saved time and money to go to a source who would know the answer or have a good suggestion in order to do the work in a timely manner. I don't consider myself lazy, I'd prefer to do things right the first time. For instance, when my boss sends me projects she says "let me know if you have questions". Then, when I have questions, she acts like I'm stupid for asking. Pardon me for wanting to clarify.

On a less antagonistic note, having ADD means I get discombobulated easily, and sometimes, in tandem with notes and detailed schedules, a question about something that should be simple is the only way for me to stay on track and get things done. When it takes 5 seconds to answer such a question, isn't it lazy on the boss' part to get annoyed with someone doing their best?

Granted, I don't say any of this to my boss, but I sure as heck think it.

Green Police: KFC busted for where it gets material for its buckets

Jun 30th 2010 10:15AM (WalletPop)
Wow. I hope all of you hating on a group trying to take care of the world are reincarnated in a post apocalyptic wasteland so you can make KFC buckets out of each other. KFC is people!!!

Dove 'Real Women' Craigslist Ad a Mistake: 'Not Approved,' Says Brand

Jun 30th 2010 9:59AM (Stylelist (Main))
Am I the only one who wondered if the Craigslist posting was a scam by a random person? Do you all really think a professional ad agency or the Dove corporation itself would use a gmail address? That to me is a red flag. They'd have an internal address.

Unusual Uses for Beer

Jun 16th 2010 2:50PM (DIY Life)
Is the writer of this article completely oblivious?? You do NOT want to kill bees! As John said, there is a mysterious epidemic that is killing them off and without them we wont have gardens, much less food. Call a beekeeper and leave the beer in the fridge.

My Younger Sister Got Married First

Jun 14th 2010 10:46PM (Lemondrop)
Oh my God, there's more of us out there!!!! I can unequivocally relate to your article, as I'm 30 and in the position of watching my 23 year old sister get married. She's got a great guy, so I'm happy for her, I just dread the relatives droning ooooon and ooooon about why I'm not married. I may just have to file away that 27 Dresses sex line for future use.
