@Haizeus

Would you pay $50 for a cup of coffee that you can drink for a year? Just as ridiculous a question as your comparison...apples and oranges sir.

@DisturbedSpartan017

Point 1: You do realize that these are the first two map packs, and not the only map packs for the year, for $50 right?

Point 2: It would be bad business to NOT gouge the non-elite players from every angle. You don't think they know how to make money?

Point 3 (extends Point 1): They will release a MINIMUM of four two map packs like these over the year, and the there are spec op and story mode mission packs they'll be doing and whatever else they're going to do.

Point 4: Its not an online pass, you can play online without paying for elite. Not sure why you mentioned it.

Its not $50 for "essentially" two maps. Its $50 for at least 8 maps (see how many came out for BlOps? 12, outside of zombie maps even, so I'm even being conservative at saying 8), and multiple other kinds of additional DLC, competitions, and services over the year. Its "essentially" a great deal, and you're "essentially" wrong.
