wow. ps+ discounts. so worth it.

So where are all the fools who said the every other week psn+ update would just be double wide? It's bad enough as it is, but your one year suscription looks a lot more like six months. Bait & switch.
It's not all bad but jeez, it could be better and it's gotten worse.

wow. the ps+ updates were pathetic at best. now your one year "subscription" becomes six months of whatever bone they decide to throw you. awesome. i paid 50$ for avatars themes and discounts on things i have or don't want.
thanks ps3 for that reminder that auto re-subscribe is on. now you can bet it's off.

I have had it since it started, 4th update, i think? it's weak. they started huge with wipeout, and minis, and qore. last week's update was weak. this weeks is worse. i think sony is insane to charge for pictures (avatars) and they aren't doing any favors giving them away.
i expected more, as in real content. not avatars themes and discounts. it's bad enough the selection dropped through the floor, but even worse, it's only for what they decide. so since i don't play resistance 2, my selection is that much smaller.
ps+ is a discount card now, not the premium service they sold it as. i really hope it gets better, but at this rate i probably won't even check the store next week.

i'm done with ps+. this is silly. one demo, two discounts, a theme and an avatar? take wipeout back and don't ever mention this to me again.

ok fair enough, i knew someone would bring up qore, minis, classics. yea it's not terrible but it might be a bad long term buy if runs this path. i hope it's not a marketing ploy to up sell weak titles.

no it's a sign of things to come. avatars and themes? it has less to do with the dollar amount and more to do with what they are doing with it. it started fairly solid. and i hope it picks up. but for a "premium subscription" it's lacking.

agreed. we basically subscribed to themes and avatars, wipeout, for better or worse and discounts. what a joke. i though it was a bad idea to start with the three month sub, now it might be a blessing in disguise.
