all you need is one wireless standard on these, like hsdpa, which is worldwide, and maybe wifi for faster speeds. You don't need all of these different connection types in an e-book reader, which is why I'm fine with EV-DO on my kindle 2

just imagine, the Zune phone, at a much lower starting price than the iphone, with a full keyboard, and a range of different versions. If the software is up to snuff, and the hardware already is in the Winmo space, other than the cosmetics department, which could be beefed up, then Microsoft will have a huge deal of a phone out. It will sell millions in it's first months if it's good enough and marketed right. Of course if they do what they did with the normal Zune (release an AWESOME product with hardly any marketing presence at all), then they'll be in the same whole they're in now. 2nd place. C'mon Microsoft, this time, shoot for 1st!

I think this will be amazing compared to the previous generation (120 gb) and will be more than enough to take on the ipod touch. Maybe even iPhone if this comes out in a phone form.

What was weird about this was that it seems to be the second Steve Jobs imitation this week from NBC. When they had chuck stop the unveiling to a free OS from a company called Roark Industries, it seemed to be a lot like a jobs keynote. But not as obviously as the Tina Fey presentation. I found them both amusing.

Let's hope he can sell some Zunes along with Xbox's, Zune does have XNA games on it.
