Actually Wes, the above chart is weekly sales, not monthly. So by your calcuation 250,000 x 52 weeks is 13 million, not 4 million. So that means that half the population could have one in 4 years.

Both formats will fail. The market is not ready for a new format so soon when DVD's are still going strong. By the time the market is ready HVD's (Holographic Versatile Disc's - 3 Terabytes of storage) will be out.

If people are dumb enough to let go of the wiimote then they deserve to break their TV's, AV equip, etc. It's not rocket science on how to use these things.
