3D PS3 games coming to PSN in June, 4 free with Bravia purchases

Apr 15th 2010 11:46AM (Joystiq)
Racing games perform best on the iPhone?!

Bahaha I shall climb the mountain and destroy Steve Jobs reality distortion field. It's a sad state of affairs when someone can make such a claim. I'd love to see the iPhone tackle Forza 3, GT5, Wipeout HD, even bloody Mario Kart.

Kevin Butler shows that PlayStation Move only does time travel

THE AD IS PURE GOLD.

As someone who does sports betting. "Kanas City in 6, call your bookie." OMG I lol'ed so hard, pure money.

PlayStation Store expands, offers HD movies for purchase

As a Canadian. F YOU Sony and Netflix on this one.

Hands-on: God of War III (well, the first boss battle at least)

Mar 1st 2010 4:47PM (Joystiq)
I saw two commericals. One from the V.P director, that one was cool but I never saw the ad again. And I saw a Gamestop ad for pre-order, which was less decent but once again, only saw once.

New Blur trailer meant to be watched with friends

I'm not a fan of the idea for seeing a Dodge Viper "shoot" projectiles at other cars, it's just strange. I'll stick with Wipeout HD, thank you.

Uncharted costumes coming to PlayStation Home

Feb 25th 2010 4:10PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Does anyone actually use home with a legit purpose? Last time I logged in, everyone gathered around whatever poor female was alone and well you can imagine. Other than that, it seems Sony has not grown this to it's potential, there are so many good ideas floating, but it's not advertised or pushed hard enough to make it seem useful.

FIFA 11 to tackle online quitters by rewarding players that finish games

Feb 21st 2010 1:02AM (Joystiq)
So as a avid FIFA fan, and someone who plays only with full manual controls (TAMFA.com) I am so against people who rage quit or lack any skills and therefore need to find any necessary exploit. Now, I'd love to see a system that awards those who finish matches, but not so much if both players finish a match. If a person rage quits, instead of just additionally awarding the player who stays in a match some good XP, PUNISH those who quit by taking away XP. To take away skills points earned for rage quitting would make so much sense to me, it would really deter the idea. I do understand online stability etc is iffy, but when you match up you can see others connections and determine whether it's a match for you or not, so I don't buy the whole my connection crapped etc.

HTC Legend breaks cover on KPN's site for March launch

Feb 11th 2010 3:48PM (Engadget)
With all the smartphones coming out, I truly feel this one is for the consumer in mind who pinches his pocket but yet wants a satisfying experience without too much demand. I had eyed the x10, and being here in Canada, the price tag of 720 euros doesn't work for me. Htc Legend using the lesser expenses snapdragon processor will bring that necessary price cut. I'm gunning for a $500 cdn price point, if so I'm sooooo down, W0OT HTC, you make some damn sexy handsets!

Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 exhaustively previewed, screenshotted to death

Feb 9th 2010 3:10PM (Engadget)
Everyone can sit and complain about the software and hardware for that fact. But the biggest laugh will be the price point for this product we waited EONS for. $1000 minimum, and personally I find that insane. If we are lucky, no more than $600.

LittleBigPlanet Contraption Challenges compiled into mind-blowing video

Feb 1st 2010 5:17PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Holy cow the rusty bridge was next level. I couldn't even comprehend that such a thing was capable of being made. Man I realy want LBP to expand large on these ideas, it would bring sooo much more value.
