Also, I want to thank Epic for bringing Gears of War with all those bright pretty colors. Next gen is definitely not made up of mud browns and rust. Zelda could have learned about next-gen bright colored goodness from Call of Duty 2, Gears of War, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and Need for Speed Most Wanted...but NO, Nintendo had to use some drab colors!! Come on Nintendo, get with it!!

Dec 30th 2005 1:02PM (Joystiq)I have to disagree with your article. The Revolution controller is way beyond a gyroscopic sensor. It senses everything on a 3-d plane. It senses moving the controller closer and farther from the tv, something this gyro controller cannot do. It is also a pointing device where the controller will sense everything on an X and Y axis, once again something this gyroscopic controller will not do.. Nintendo has been doing the gyroscopic based games for years (with examples like WarioWare Twisted, Kirby Tilt and Tumble, and Yoshi Topsy Turvy).
I give props to the student for the working design, but he merely improved on a concept already created by Nintendo.
