Oh, my car! Capcom porting Final Fight and Magic Sword to XBLA and PSN

Nov 26th 2009 4:24PM (Joystiq)
This is definitely a must buy for me. Looks like it's an arcade port so I can finally play as Guy and have some two player action!

Also I still remember the tunes from level 1 and the subway... Classic beat em up action right there hehe.

I hope there's a way to play as Poison or Andore!

yeah or at least they're taking a week off... What else is coming out soon?

Rogue Warrior and the Saboteur I guess but I'm not really excited about either of those.

Black Friday Video Game Deals Hub

Nov 26th 2009 4:20PM (Joystiq)
Yeah Amazon for sure. For most of these Black Friday deals the savings don't entice me enough to want to wade through a sea of people and wait in line for hours starting at 5 in the morning hehe.

Nintendo: 80 percent of female console gamers prefer Wii

ladybug666 huh? You make me wish I could change my gamertag hahaha

Those names are kind of dorky but I'm sure there's an equal amount of dudes with dude names involving death, pain, boy or man in their name and I'm not going to bother getting worked up about it. From what I've seen out there I think half the people who sign up on XBL don't even realize they're choosing their permanent name and just enter their email ID or something.

Puzzle Quest sequel revealed

I didn't think Galactrix wasn't all that bad, but I'm glad they're going back to Puzzle Quest

Valve: Keep listening to your customers, keep listening to your developers

Nov 26th 2009 4:08PM (Joystiq)
I'm glad they said it. I just hope people listen seeing as one of the biggest releases of the year totally ignored customers and still sold well.

Google to show off Chrome OS Thursday, release it in 2010

I'll believe the success of cloud computing when I see it. I know it holds lots of promise, but I don't want to connect to the cloud and stream my doc app just to write some notes or even a school paper for that matter. Having things quick and local with the option to save it somewhere online so I can easily access it other places is what I prefer, call me oldschool.

But hey maybe that's how they're planning it.

Microsoft: Natal launch details 'not accurate'

Nov 17th 2009 10:33PM (Joystiq)
Yeah. If they are selling their fricking wireless adapters for $100 I see no way they will release what they see as their next-gen interactivity platform wii-killer dream hardware for the same price.

Microsoft: Natal launch details 'not accurate'

Nov 17th 2009 10:31PM (Joystiq)
Kinda...

unlike Sega CD this is copying the success of a preexisting product and expanding upon it.

Sega CD.. Used extra capacity to make a bunch of crappy FMV games.
