See, this I don't understand. Nintendo said from the start that Virtual Console will primarily be a retro service and that future online additions might be in the cards. That's all. Seems most people can't really listen, demanding online facilities like dead babies, usually in combination with 'fuck you Nintendo'.

Nintendo never promised you a rose garden, okay? If you like the principle of XBLA better, well, then go play THAT! If you don't want unadulterated retro games then don't mind Virtual Console. It's that simple, really.

Damn you Nintendo, you want to make me believe that you didn't foresee this? Was it SO hard to include a three inch thick padding for the Wiimote and a copy of Dr. Phil's book on building healthy relationships?

What are you rambling about being an apologist? I just see a few good games are already here and Nintendo has already confirmed 2 to 5 new games on each monday. The entire list for December has been revealed months ago, they just release 'em week by week. There's lots of good stuff on there, so it's way too early to start bitching about 'triple A margquee titles' yet (whatever those are, btw. If Gunstar Heroes ain't, nothing is).

Second, I'm just as annoyed as anyone else about the pricing and about the emulator issues in PAL countries. But I reject any shit about updating games. It's a RETRO library, no XBLA. Don't mess with the RETRO! :-) The VC has an update option if you want to enhance your games. I just want to stick to the retro experience, what's apologist about that?

Yeah, Gavin, we got crappy stuff like F-Zero, Donkey Kong Country, Ristar, Bonk, Dungeon Explorer, Legend of Zelda, Mario 64, Super Star Soldier, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Alien Crush and Gunstar Heroes coming up. Goddammit, where are the quadruple A titles?! Sheesh!

Wait, you aren't one of those people who are going to make a comment such as 'Fuck you Nintendo, where's my [inserts some obscure game title and wanks hoping everybody stands in awe of his hardcore game history or hardcore game pose]!'

Japan already has Konami releasing Contra III and Castlevania 4, and these games have been confirmed for Australia as well, meaning that the rest of the world will probably see them somewhere in January. Also, Dungeon Explorer is already available in Europa, so you might want to check it!

It's still quite confusing. Some games run perfectly, others don't. Why? Machine and configuration being equal, how can one game run on 50 and another on 60hz? Questions, questions...

While this is a gripe that makes some hot and others cold, the real message for many is this: Europe/Australia, you will not get any game you didn't get before, suck balls!!

What us PALs need to do is send of an email to Nintendo to a): demand that this will be corrected through updates or whatever, b) warn them that we will give severe negative press to others on this feature, and c) warn them that this demand will be spread across the internet.

Get off your bums, NoE, we're paying you an insane amount of money and your coffers are overflowing, and this simple desire can't be remedied?

I'm getting so sick and tired of all these consumer fiends who promised themselves a rose garden and now are livid because Nintendo only gave them a fucken tulip.

I'm also sick and tired of these people popping up on VC comments who only have something to say like: 'Screw that, where's [some fucken game]?' or 'Man, they should release [some fucken game]! Fuck you Nintendo!'

And yeah, I'm getting REAL sick and tired about the whole ROM arguments ('It's IL/LEGAL, DAWG!'), the price whining ('5 bucks for Donkey Kong? WTF! I want [some fucken game]!!!') or XBLA skullduggery ('No multiplayer Goldeneye??? Fuck you Nintendo, I like $10 Frogger on XBLA a lot more right now!').

Get over it.
