very disappointed to hear it went to FB.

It always bothered me that Silverlight kept showing up in optional installs even though I would check "don't ever show again".

Any idea as to what versions are showing up for corp and edu licensing? I have only been able to find a listing of "Standard" so far, and that doesn't match up to the two versions I am seeing on the microsoft website.

iDVD is great for when you need a traveling presentation and you have no idea what to expect as far as networking goes. I can't tell you how many times I have been stuck in some antiquated presentation gallery with only a TV/slide projector hooked up to a DVD player or some antique PC.

iDVD is also handy for sending pics of the kids to older relatives that aren't hip to that new interweb thing.

It would be interesting to see the breakdown of students vs staff/faculty. My guess is a lot more are student accounts. Some universities will allow it for their "non-secure" student email systems, but do not allow GMail (or other hosted mail services) for staff/faculty.

I really wish companies would drop the Year Names from their products. Give me a regular version number any day.

Is there a way to force the Mac 7.x version to automatically start in incognito mode very time?

Weird seeing a game that is not Mac compatible (at least the last time I checked) using Apple tech.

I was never a fan of VersionTracker after the CNET acquisition, but I have been a fan of AppFresh.
Don't try looking for it on VersionTracker or MacUpdate, because they refuse to post competing apps. It has been pretty darn handy when you have some older drive images you have to roll out and want to update all the apps on it at one time rather than hope they get updated as users use the system.

And I am guessing this will be another big push used to get more people using Silverlight.
