Jun 10th 2010 10:03PM (Switched)Review: 2010 Hyundai Tucson GLS is a stylish all-rounder without sacrifice
Apr 11th 2010 12:05PM (Autoblog)The initial flock of people buying them now is greater than it will be in six months to a year. Then, like most items, there will be surplus available to pick and choose from.
Although, I am a fan of the Forester too... ;-)

Mar 12th 2010 4:54PM (Autoblog Green)Very convincing name too...oh, and the fact you only post on Autoblog and Autoblog green and your profile is set to private makes you even more suspicious.
*disclaimer* I drive a Scion...but I am not a Toyota fanboi.
Report: Scion considering entering compact pickup market
Jan 16th 2010 8:00PM (Autoblog Green)I forgot about the A-Bat concept. I do like the looks of it. I think it looks like a mini Ridgeline which I like the styling and utility of.
I agree..."mini" truck with good gas mileage and decent looks. Make it capable of hauling a small load and give it a trailer hitch or "approve" of towing with it.
If the tC motor can handle 800 pounds of passengers, I don't see how it would not be able to be done.

Jan 15th 2010 4:45PM (Autoblog)It is a niche market with not much competition. As someone else said..a mini Taco.
With no Ford Ranger, what I have heard is an abysmal Colorado, and not much out there, it might make sense.

Traffic Light Counts Down To Green, Promotes Eco-Awareness
Dec 2nd 2009 5:38PM (Switched)The thing I like is the fact that I could slow down if I know the light is changing instead of using brakes. Think coming up to a light knowing there is 3 seconds left you are likely to gradually slow down instead of slam the brakes on so you can keep rolling.
I have the timing down on some of the lights in my city so I can time how long I have before the light changes. This saves me some gas and some brake wear and tear.
Microsoft Finally Pushing Customers to Ditch Internet Explorer 6
Dec 2nd 2009 5:29PM (Switched)The State of Ohio's default browser is IE6. I assume other state's default to whatever is default on the OS. Unfortunately I can see that trend continuing with budgets hurting nationwide and IT support being cut. Our agency has not had a full time IT person in about 2 years.
Interestingly, I downloaded Opera to my desktop as a security and ease of use measure and I got reamed royally for doing it. Same with using any utilities other than what was given to me (ie - defrag, spyware, etc).

16 Biggest Tech No-Nos
Apr 5th 2009 10:35AM (Switched)People replying to other people on a blog/news story page when the post is not directly pointed at them.
(See above poster)
There was one "mean" post and it was towards someone else's advice Teresa. So save yourself some stress and take the good advice over the bad.
Which leads me to..
Tech No-No #89234:
Take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt. People lie, so check the information you get. People are mean, so do not take everything personally. People attack others because they are weak in person. People cannot read emotion unless it is part of the text.
CAPS LOCK TYPING:
*This is not directed at anybody here* but I think the CAPS issue is more a generational "PC" rule.
Another example: I like to wear hats (baseball, beanies, etc) and wear them outside AND inside. I notice many people that are of older generations either give me a dirty look or verbally attack me to take my hat off when I come inside. To me, I am not disrespecting anybody by keeping my head warm in the winter and I truthfully forget I am wearing a hat sometimes. But I respect their opinion and take my hat off when they say it or I remember.
I wish others would share the same respect when it comes to things like the CAPS LOCK thing, cell phone etiquette, and even how loud people type.
