I guess I'm one of the few that look for a game that's more fun than pretty. I absolutely love the Wii Sports games, even with those crude blow-up people on the other side of the screen. While this day and age graphics are something that can drive a game, it shouldn't be the deciding factor on whether to buy the game. Let's just say Gears of War had GameCube quality graphics, but played the same, would you buy it? If you like it now, I would hope so. Or, let's say that Gears of War looked 5 times better than it does on the Xbox 360, but had terrible controls and dumb AI, would you still buy it?
Don't limit your choices about games just because of looks. Obviously Nintendo thinks that if it plays well, it doesn't matter how it looks.
