I was thinking this, too. If almost a quarter of my customers left the moment a competitor started offering a competing product, I would be devastated. I'm not sure how losing 23% of your iPhone customers doesn't qualify as "massive."

I love mine (1st edition, 2nd printing), but, like others:
- my bookplate was affixed behind the iPad, not on the flap
- the foam corners became unattached to the bamboo frame, though superglue remedied that easily
- the foam corners no longer hold in the iPad securely

On that last point, I cut a tiny (< .5 cm) piece of a wide rubber band and put it against one of the bottom corner foam pieces. When I put the iPad in its case, I put it in bottom first and then lean it back, and the reverse for taking it out. This is enough to keep the iPad securely in its place. The foam corner problems are disappointing for a $60 case, but I'm willing to look past it for the case's very attractive yet unobtrusive looks and the protection of the bamboo inner frame. caveat emptor.

I'd carry my external backup battery, cables, pens, and a microfiber wipe.

A few observations:
- Web browsing did seem impressively fast on the Hanvon compared to the iPad, assuming no shenanigans. I have noticed that YouTube is strangely slow to load on my iPad + iPhone 3GS compared to my Macs.
- Zooming in/out on the Hanvon appeared to be incredibly chunky - perhaps an inferior graphics processor?
- The onscreen keyboard on the Hanvon has keys that are almost half the width of the iPad's onscreen keys. Not a big deal for hunt and peck typing, but no way you could two hand type with that onscreen keyboard.
- The start menu is horrible, horrible, horrible on a touch tablet
