Absolutely worth it at this price. I'm actually fine with having paid $60 for it back in March.

Joyswag: Dead Rising 2 - Case Zero

The Winchester. Obviously.

Of course, that DID get invaded pretty easily... but at least there's semi-cold pints and Queen in the jukebox.

Harvest Moon 64 probably not coming out on Virtual Console

Aug 14th 2010 11:30PM (Joystiq)
Loved Harvest Moon 64. I have so many games in my shame pile... games I haven't played that I should... games I own but haven't opened... but HM64 has captured hours and hours of life from me. Probably played it through at least 3 or 4 times. Fantastic game; probably in my Top 5.

Who Is the Biggest Star in Hollywood?

Jun 26th 2010 10:05PM (Cinematical)
Definitely Will Smith. The man is a box office revenue-generating machine. Even Seven Pounds, which didn't have broad audience appeal, grossed three times its $55 mil budget (even made money just from the domestic market).

He's charismatic and actually a great actor to boot. People will see (and like) a mediocre flick simply for his involvement... I know I have.

The last movie he was in that didn't make back its budget was Jersey Girl, which was a cameo for him. Before that? Ali in 2001. (Bagger Vance also flopped the year before, but beyond that, it's four-straight nine-digit domestic grosses).

Joyswag: Risk: Black Ops board game & Risk: Factions XBLA codes

Risk: Black Ops is beautiful and I promise to care for it, always.

In Defense of Brett Ratner (No, Really)

Jun 5th 2010 8:08PM (Cinematical)
I don't mind Ratner. He doesn't do much to improve cinema as a whole, but he makes a decent popcorn flick. The only Ratner movies I've seen (X-Men 3, Rush Hour 1&2, Money Talks) weren't necessarily all that great, but at least all are very watchable films. Nice time-killers.

Not a ringing endorsement, but I will say this: X-Men 3 looks like X-Men 2 alongside X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
