@sa7078 I think ATT might have misled you. The $200 price is if your contract is expired or expiring in 2010 (which it wouldn't if you got the 3gs and extended/renewed your contract last year). At least that's how I thought it worked

As for alienating the customer base, the officer's club is a playlist with 2 gamemodes (TDM, War) that are found in the core playlists, available to EVERYONE with the game. Same gameplay experience, just more XP

Why is everyone complaining?

The people that dropped an extra $20 are getting something extra to make their money's worth. If you just play the game and not worry about who is higher level than you, you will end up with the same stuff anyway (I don't have the LE and am already 65 anyway). If LE owners got a special god-mode cheat in MP I'd speak out, but a double EXP week? lol?

It's smart business on their part

Well, you have to consider CoD4 was the first game to use the in-house engine by IW, so more beta testing had to be done for network/performance tweaks. Treyarch is using the same polished engine from CoD4 so it makes sense that their beta period would be shorter, probably to test performance with the bigger outdoor maps/vehicles than anything.

uhh they're still rolling it out to everyone. and its free. don't see the need for so much complaning when u'll have it in a couple days anyway
