The Office video game sounds easy: "That's what she said."

I love how people say the US "stole" The Office like we're some sort of sneaky bastards. Gervais wrote about 50 of the episodes himself.

Are there 50 episodes of the US and Uk versions combined? Even if there is, I would give you about ten episodes. Not including the first season of the US version being almost identical to the UK version, so you could add another six there if you weren't already.

Hey Chris, your entire post shows that you don't qute get subtlety. Not just your spelling humour without a u.

That overt sexual humour you're referring to was, in every instance I can think of, taking the piss out of something very different.

It makes me want to cry that anyone could consider the US version (which is ok) anywhere near better than the genius UK version.

The UK version of the IT crowd is fucking awful though, why are they making a remake?

Yeah - they're nowhere in Canberra. JBs say they aren't getting any more in until March. A friend in Brisbane was supposed to be getting one for his birthday today and instead got one on order, so they aren't anywhere there either.

Rational gamers choose subsidized hardware, all else equal [update 2]

The last two paragraphs in that post are the most asinine comments I've read in some time.

You are imputing motive into Nintendo's actions which there is very little evidence of. Further, you don't seem to be taking into account R&D, marketing and huge amounts of other factors.

And the worst thing is you clearly know your argument doesn't work, because you updated with "For this argument to work, one must assume that all else is equal." It's not equal Vlad. By your own admission the argument therefore holds no water.
