GameStop saves you a fortune with $20 Fallout: New Vegas

Apr 6th 2011 11:09PM (Joystiq)
Too bad that $20 is still going towards a broken game (X360/PS3). I am so miffed that I can't finish -- keeps freezing on me now that I'm near the end and it's unplayable. I'm talking instant freezes or within the first 5 minutes, not like oh lala it hangs every once in a while. Sorry if I sound bitter, but FO3 was one of my favorite games (platinumed) and NV is glitchier and not as fun.

Played the whole thing thru -- enjoyed it very much and well worth the $9.99 -- would rate it 5/5 and yes it has trophies/achievements.

My favorite drink is Honest Tea's Ooh La Long Peach -- only available in the glass bottles which are getting harder and harder to find. Yum!

My MGS4 80GB PS3 died 13 days after having it...

the replacement they shipped me has worked fine since (knock on wood)...bummer I can't qualify for this as it's worth it for peace of mind. Yeah it's crap that you even have to worry about it, but hey it's better than nothing.

Mass Effect 2's save game import features explained

Dec 27th 2009 11:45AM (Joystiq)
I'm currently playing through the Quest for Glory series (skipping the 2nd because of the ridiculous city map) again and am about 1/2 way through the 4th one. Seeing stuff like this brings a smile to my face as I believe this was THE FIRST game to offer importing saves.

Analysts: Nintendo may forecast drop in profits

Well if it's $99 for a Gamecube then the Wii would still be $199 seeing as it's 2 Gamecubes taped together!!
