Survey reveals Rock Band 2 concept box art

Eh... maybe it doesn't have to be harder, but I'd prefer it if easy songs were more like In Bloom, Gimme Shelter, and Say it Ain't So, etc. As in, they have solos rather than just a handful of the same riffs over and over (i.e. Maps, Learn to Fly, I Think I'm Paranoid).

Also a better drumset would be nice.

I hope it's slightly more like the jump from GH1 to GH2 than the jump from GH2 to GH3.

Also that the setlist this time has a better difficulty curve for guitar. RB1 was so easy I was almost 100%-ing songs in Tier 8.

At least DLC gave us stuff like Metallica, Working Man, and Shockwave, among others.

Readers pick best webcomic: tryouts

Legendary had a pretty good comic recently. (http://legendary.comicgenesis.com/d/20070509.html)

Also, the aforementioned Fanboys comic is absolutely hilarious, but it's not about games, it just has a vague reference to a game, so I don't think it should count.

If it was confirmed, though, I'd probably still vote for it. I'm weak like that.

@12: It's a joke about how, in RPGs, you can basically walk into any NPC's house and take anything you want. Even the theft insurance guys don't care.

Also, the "Ennis, Piers, Cecil" is a nod to "NPC," I think. I thought it was kinda clever.

I also liked the rant under the comic.

Rational gamers choose subsidized hardware, all else equal [update 2]

And looking at it from another angle, why does Nintendo selling their console at a profit indicate lack of faith in their product.

It could just as easily be interpreted that they're selling their console at that price because they think that it's a good enough product that people will pay extra money for it.

WHOA, MAN! Speak truth to power!

Who does Nintendo think they are, with all this "making a profit" nonsense. Like that's what economics is about.

Even if the PS3 costs more than twice as much, comes out later, and has no Zelda, it's still a better system than the Wii because Sony's not profiting! You've totally opened my eyes, bro!
