Xbox Live streaming iHeartRadio music festival this weekend

@wunwunx
Am I missing something here or is this exactly like how it sounds?

Xbox Live streaming iHeartRadio music festival this weekend

Can we play it in the background of games?

Oh, we can't?

Thanks for putting effort into something a majority of users will never touch. If only you would spend time improving your service instead of doing stuff like this. I mean, it's not like we've been asking for this for a long time or anything... Although, I guess asking my Xbox to do two things at once, God forbid, is a bit much. Even if it's just playing music.

***I own an Xbox, like Live, but I feel when a company invests time in something a good majority of it's users will never touch, then potential improvement of the main service is wasted.

Borderlands to add Steam Cloud saving, play data collection on Sept. 9

@GordoJones88 Really cool, but wouldn't this be more suited for, say, the Borderlands forums or Steam forums?

Blizzard Dota hits the reset button

@Fire Walk With Me Nah, Valve will be fine. This is a mod for Starcraft. Anyone who is going to be playing this will already be playing Starcraft. I can't imagine someone buying Starcraft just for a custom map. Valve's DotA 2, on the other hand, is a standalone game will all of Valve's resources (or at least the DotA 2 division) behind it whereas Blizzard's Starcraft 2 team is also working on, well, Starcraft 2.

@FriedConsole When it comes to Guitar Hero vs. Rock Band, I couldn't care less about EA or Activision. Rock Band is just simply better due to the keyboard and the MASSIVE OCEANS OF DLC.

D&D Daggerdale studio Bedlam Games 'effectively shuttered'

Tipped off by veracious_shit?

So D&D: Daggerdale sent in the tip?

Click and drag in style with Logitech's G300 gaming mouse

@That One Guy Look up a build, practice against the computer a few times, then just play. Or at least do custom games if you don't want to ladder. No use in letting it sit on the hard drive :)

I did listen to "With a Q?", though. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

The Joystiq Show - 006: Musical Players

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga
I know a lot of work goes into these new shows and I applaud the Joystiq crew for producing such high quality work, but I've only listened to, I think, 2 episodes. The old format had game news, community interaction through emails being read, and just general humor. I'm happy I still have a funny, weekly podcast to look forward to in MBMBaM but , I just don't think this new stuff is doing it for me.

@jackal I don't know about that last part. Take a look at Fox news...
