You're still an idiot.

First of all, some people would prefer the tangerine Wii and pay the premium. That is, after all, how Apple continues to sell computers.

Second of all, getting a "subsidized" console for double the cost is still paying double the cost. AND the system is simply repeating the same games and the same stupid !#@^#@ that has come for the last 15 years. Frankly, I don't want to play "Doom" any more. I don't want to play "Doom" with better graphics. I don't even care if the storyline is excellent. I completely don't care about playing FPS any more, I've been there, done that. With the Wii, I can get a console, an extra controller, and several games for the price of a not-even-fully-functional PS3.

Please, please, invest your money in the stock market. Your complete lack of economics training is so obvious, and your lack of intelligence shows through so much that it would be entertaining to read how quickly you lose all your money.

Rediculous and idiotic. The article says "all else equal" -- if all else were equal, then the conclusions would be correct. The problem is, ALL ELSE IS NOT EQUAL. The simple fact of the matter is that you can buy two Wiis for the price of one PS3. Or you can buy a Wii and have money left over in comparison to buying an Xbox.

Of course, if you oversimplify, it becomes clear. The author is an idiot.
