Even without Yellow Ledbetter, that's a pretty awesome list. I wouldn't have expected to see Down on there.

It's not even the same font. The one in the Eidos-Montreal teaser image is Trajan, a.k.a. The Movie Font (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t87QKdOJNv8). The one in the Thief map is...some other Roman font. It's definitely not Trajan, though. Linking this to Thief is a stretch.

But I'll still be watching for an announcement...just in case.... =/

Yep, that's what I'm doing until I can afford an HDTV. It's not great (mainly because text is still pretty small when viewed from several feet away), but it's better than SD for sure.

Although I agree it's more rewarding to solve puzzles for myself, I also think it's more than a little condescending and tactless to tell paying customers how to play a game.

I was ready to give up on Guitar Hero after the disappointment of GH3 and the brand oversaturation from GH:Aerosmith and GH:Metallica, but I have to admit, World Tour looks pretty sweet. I'll probably pick this one up.

I won't be buying GH: Aerosmith, and I won't be buying this. I *might* still be persuaded to buy GH: World Tour, if only because their drum set looks better than Rock Band's, but I really don't *want* to.

How about a 2D Castlevania for WiiWare? I'd buy that for a dollar.

It reeks of "some Activision suit is a big Aerosmith fan" to me. That's the only explanation I can think of. I highly doubt market research would have shown that all the kids are clamoring to rock out to some Aerosmith.

Guitar Hero: Pearl Jam would be epic, although I gotta fall back on the "it would be cooler in Rock Band" argument there, too.

I'd love to see more games with portals. I don't necessarily think Portal needs a direct sequel, though. As much as I love Aperture Science, GlaDOS, cake, and the weighted companion cube, I have a hard time imagining a sequel that wouldn't feel like it was just beating a dead horse.
