Feb 21st 2007 3:31PM (Engadget)
"At least when they get drunk you don't have to worry about them driving home."

No. You just have to worry about them passing out and freezing to death while walking home. Simply because most Russians have to go an internet Cafe to get on the internet.

PS3 crime spree, part IV: the case of the missing console

Nov 29th 2006 12:47PM (Engadget)
"How nice. I'm about to send in my Xbox 360 for the _third_ time and I've had to pay for the shipping myself for every one of them."

That is odd because when I sent my 360 in for repairs they sent me a box with a prepaid shipping label and they covered all the costs of repair.

Xbox Live Video Marketplace is live, $6 HD rentals [update 1]

Nov 22nd 2006 11:10AM (Joystiq)
I am personally excited for this. We have an HDTV but no HD-DVD or BD player and I like the idea of being able to rent HD movies without having to upgrade completely to a new player. I think that $6 is reasonable for a HD rental. I told my brother and sister in law about this and they are excited to rent movies in HD as well. I am glad that there is some sort of alternative to HD-DVD/BD.
