A simple way to do co-op with this game (if it's not built-in) is to just give one person the nunchuk... one looks.. the other shoots. Trade off between levels. Of course, the damn cord is so short you'll have to be pretty close to each other. But hey, it's an idea if you want to dick around. I actually did this with Twilight Princess. It was interesting, to say the least.

Oh yes, Halo 3 WILL sell a shitload... and it will help move some consoles, especially Halo 2 fans waiting to buy a 360 just for Halo 3. However, after Halo 3, is there ANY game coming out that will sell like hotcakes? Or move systems on such a wide scale? Where's hte next Gears of War? Grand Theft Auto IV might be able to, but that's on PS3 as well, and fundamentally comes out the same time as Halo 3 anyways, so the effect will be minimal. Unfortunately, after the sales orgasm Halo 3 gives the 360, it's going to be very difficult to keep up the momentum. Predict 360 sales to really level off in 2008... software sales will definitely rise though. So let's hope Microsoft keeps that 80%...

I'd offer a theory on how the Wii and PS3 will not have this problem, but that'd just start a flame war, because everyone on here seems to only ever pick one system to support and abandons all logic when it comes to other ones. Ain't the Internets fun?

I envy you. I am so very looking forward to this movie... and since I'm in the States, who the hell knows when I'll get a chance to! I'm a bit miffed you failed to mention any of the soundtrack however... I've been hearing some interesting things regarding it. New Order, for example, supposedly redid a bunch of Joy Division songs as part of the soundtrack, in addition to actual Joy Division songs appearing in the film? And that there are some covers? Namely The Killers' cover of Shadowplay over the credits? I am starved for this information... d'oh. I'm very glad the movie's good though. Can't wait to see it.

All I've seen of Halo 3 is shiny Halo 2. It does not look impressive at all, and is incredibly disappointing. I'm sure the gameplay will be fine for Halo fans, but as a fan of PC shooters since the days of Doom, Halo never ever held any appeal to me whatsoever. I had much more fun ducking in and out of cover on Gears of War than getting sniped in the back during Halo 2. Halo 3 looks to be more of the same, but I hope I'm wrong... somehow, a game company that thinks selling a helmet case for $90 for no reason doesn't really give me hope though.

I imagine Nolan's joker as being horribly frightening. Which I think will be interesting, because Batman (especially in Nolan's Gotham) works primarily on fear. He scared the shit out of everyone in BB. "Swear to MEEEEEEEEE!" Eep. Ledger's Joker is going to scare the pants off you because not only do you believe he'll be capable of doing horrible things to you, but he'll do it with a smile. On a completely unrelated note, if they ever do a Knightfall movie with a proper Bane treatment... the "broke back" jokes would be far too over the top.

Not starting a flame war or anything... but... Gran Turismo HD. That's all I'll say. Shame that Halo 3 won't be 1080p60. Will it be 1080p30? Probably not, a 30 fps framerate in an FPS is kind of a no no.

Platinum covers are awful. Almost as bad as PS1 Greatest Hits. The green totally ruined many good game boxes. Hopefully I can find an original box for $30. Also, WHY ISN'T OBLIVION $30 YET?! It's STILL $60.

With this appearing on a regular DVD-9 for Xbox 360, I'm wondering what advantage they're taking of Blu-ray. 1080p textures? Uncompressed audio? Extra levels? Extra characters? A remake of Devil May Cry 2? The installation option is pretty cool too... I believe that there are no 360 games that allow this apart from Final Fantasy XI, as it REQUIRES the hard drive to function (as it does on PS2). Guess we'll have to wait until the release date gets closer for some answers. The achievements on the 360 version are probably going to be horrible anyways.... "S-rank on all levels on Dante Must Die... 20" You know it will happen.
