Previews for First Two Lost Episodes - VIDEO
Feb 4th 2007 1:58PM (AOL TV)Never have truer words been spoken. I can't WAIT.
Who to enhance with a gaming face-lift?
Feb 4th 2007 1:03PM (Joystiq)But if a new Megaman came out and it was a side-scroller no more complex than the original game, but that LOOKED like a cartoon, I'd buy it in a heart beat. Its one of the only reasons I'm considering Alien Hominid (though I'd rather see a more natural drawing style and less a "blown-up flash animation" style). And I suspect the interest in all these old catalog games is NOT just for the nostalgia factor. Else why would people be buying games they'd never played? The 2D platformer is dead, long live the 2D platformer!

Jan 16th 2007 6:58PM (AOL TV)My favorite random location was the Bridge where Sun and Jin meet. It's right behind the convention center that plays the airport.
Wii's Wario wary of widescreen
Jan 16th 2007 6:49PM (Joystiq)As for the reasoning behind this, Crushed states the obvious WHY.
Wii's Wario wary of widescreen
Jan 16th 2007 6:40PM (Joystiq)Could it be that the widescreen only shows if your Wii is set to 480i? In other words, people using composite see unstretched 16:9, while people using component see stretched 4:3 on their 16:9 screen. That's what it sounds like from the comments. I'm going to investigate.

Jan 14th 2007 7:35PM (Joystiq Xbox)Buffy comic update: pre-orders and spoilers
Jan 11th 2007 11:56AM (AOL TV)Sure, it's profit-motivated. What isn't? But there's story to tell. Seasons Six and Seven on UPN could be argued as a "corny profit-motivated cheap television imitation of the fabulously written epic" (and some people probably do), but that doesn't make it any less a part of the canon.
Do you also dismiss Fray? Which was written during season four, took place far far in the future, yet was also canon? (See, there was this whole "weapon of the Slayer" thing that Fray used that Buffy finally discoverd toward the end of Season Seven...)
Personally, I can't wait for the Buffy Season Eight comics. And I look forward to Joss and Greenwalt sitting down to give us Angel Season Six comics. Bring on the "Mad Max" season!
