True, I can't wait to get Assassin's Creed, exclusive on the PS3. Oh wait, it's not exclusive anymore. Oh, I can't wait to get Devil May Cry 4... wait that's not exclusive any more either. Developers want to make money to stay in business and developing for the 360 then porting to the PoS3 is easier and less time consuming. So 'exclusive' in terms of PoS3 games could very well become a term for 'games developed and published by Sony', whereas true exclusive games you'll find on the 360, which I own and don't see any other reason to own a PoS3.
I bought all the games that weren't already on the 360 (Resistance, Genji, Motorstorm, Untold Legends) and I just wasn't convinced that the PS3 games had the quality and play that I get from 360 games like Gears of War, Lost Planet, and even Viva Pinata. Plus XBLA and the LIVE service cannot be beat.
Oh let's see there's BETA tapes, Laserdiscs, Minidiscs, and oh yeah the UMDs in that track record as well.

Um let's see, there's the BETA tape, the LaserDisc, MiniDisc, oh and the UMD to list among Sony's failed media formats.
I'm glad that there isn't an HD DVD drive. Both HD and Blu-Ray still have a long way to go to becoming 'mainstream' media formats. I still think it won't trump DVD at all. Sony's track record on media formats has been skimming rock bottom for so long, and both are having problems accumulating much needed support. It's funny to see HD and Blu-Ray movies going for under $15 when it costs nearly 3 times that much for the disc itself and the production of that goes into it.
Console-war-wise, this is smart move on MS to further expand their base and their lead on Sony. I owned a PS3 and I was not impressed at all. With a lackluster launch title list, and games getting delayed, I'll be trading this paperweight (It literally sits on top of all my magazine on my desk so they don't fall over.) for the Elite 360. I'll use this as the main 360 in my living room (next to my Wii) cause the tv there has HDMI and transfer my original premium to my desk.
#5 & #6: Retailers will probably attach the Wii-mote to high tensil strength wires like they do when they display cell phones and digital cameras. The other end being secured to the kiosk.
Or the otherend could be attached to some serious dead weight, like an overheated PS3.
