Few statements are quite as hilarious and ironic as this one. Here's a pointer, chief, if you're going to insult somebody's communication skills make sure yours are up to par. Also, you seem really threatened by a woman your side of the political spectrum considers mentally deficient. Are liberals really so weak they feel threatened by some irrelevant political extra from Alaska? It seems like Letterman isn't the only one scratching bottom.

Well, for one, does anybody even still watch Letterman? Second, you're really scratching the bottom of the barrel when you're still making fun of Sarah Palin, Dave. She's only slightly less irrelevant than you are.

You know if they had a built-in battery that charged by plugging into the system, Joystiq would complain about the plug getting in the way.

Funny, it seems like Joystiq is trying to regain favor with the Sony camp by excusing any problems with the PS3. Of course, they don't want to miss any potential Wii problems, like plugging in controllers (because, you know, that's so last gen).

I don't think #8 deserves a star at all, he's just being a troll. People like Nintendo because they've for the most part delivered. While the Gamecube wasn't the raging success they hoped for, there were still quality games. You rarely heard anything about peoples' Gamecubes not reading discs or any Nintendo system breaking, especially in comparison to the Playstation consoles (with the exception of the PS3, I've not heard anything yet). I'm not saying there's no such thing as Nintendo fanboys, all three companys have their camps. I do think you're being a little harsh, though.

The majority of business articles previously featured thatg heralded the Wii as the winner did so from a business standpoint, not a gaming standpoint. They dicussed such things as the price and the supply at launch, whereas this article tries to make a point for the PS3 based on the gaming aspects.

I can already see the comments:

Wii Fanboy: STFU Wii is perfect!!11!one! Screw the PS3, that hunk of junk
PS3 Fanboy: Ur system is obsolete n inferior lolol
Rational Nintendo fan: It'll probably get a firmware update
Anti-Wii person: Yeah right, why would they utilize the online update downloading feature they designed to fix a problem? that's stupid. You're stupid.
Another Wii fanboy: You suck, the PS3 sucks.
Rational Sony fan: Uh... what does the PS3 have to do with this?

I get the feeling reading this that CliffyB wrote this whole letter to try and introduce a sort of personal relationship between developer and player, create an atmosphere of reflection upon the direction of the gaming industry, then completely shatter these with "a CHAINSAW attached to a gun." I laughed.

Dethklok just made this game ten times better.

I personally love iTunes, but hate the iPod. I've had two iPods break on me already right after the warranty expired. I'm actually looking forward to something potentially more reliable.

I still don't know who in their right mind would buy a PS3.
