Go buy more Skylanders toys now

I think you need to add air quotes to the 'for my three year old son' part of that comment in the interests of full disclosure.

Being a parent is awesome though for that very reason. Now if I could just get my sever-year-old daughter to like Bakugan...

That looks amazing! I'm getting a real meat boy vibe from it too (which is a good thing).

When/If they decide to port this beauty over to android they will have a guaranteed purchase from me.

Till then I'll just have to scrounge a bit of IOS time from my apple-owning friends to sample it first hand.

Here's a bizarre thing I've just noticed:

I'm in th UK (that's not the bizarre part) and in my marketplace it shows the developers of this app as the Taito corporation.

What do they have to do with Square Enix, if anything at all?

Does anyone else feel like grumbling about the five dollar price tag with me?

Here I'll go first:

Grumble, grumble, grumble.
Mumble, mumble, mumble.
Jumble, jumble, ju...

Wait - forget that last part. Let's chalk it down to a typo.

I'll still be picking this up regardless. I feel it's my obligation to show devs there's a market for these kinds of games on android, living in the hope that more will follow suit if I do so.

I'm still waiting with baited breath for Osmos and puzzle quest to do the rounds on android.

@BPMOmega XBL PSN Steam

I had a look, it's five bucks on the app store also.

Nice to see mobile gaming devs treating the diferent platforms equally for a change.

Driver San Francisco review: A beautiful dream

@xiLeShadow

Very unexpected. My interest in this game, in a manner similar to the games described plot, just went from zero to extreme in five minutes.

Thanks for putting this game on my radar Jordan. I wouldn't have given it a second glance if not for your review.

Now to find my wallet...

Spider-Man: Edge of Time behind the scenes vid tells the tale of two Spideys

Damn it! Why did I have to watch that video? Now that they've got their hooks into me with the plot/ premise that's on offer, I'm going to be definitely buying it when it comes out

Even if it tanks critically.

Please don't tank critically.

Final Fantasy 3 now out for iOS, other Square Enix titles on sale

Wow! That's a lot of Squeenix love for the app store there. I had no idea their mobile back catalogue was so vast.

I hope the (I have no doubt) rampant success of those titles persuades them to consider expanding the slim pickin's on the Android Marketplace some time soon.

Not that there isn't a plethora of RPG action to be found there already of course - It's just that nothing else scratches the same itch as that victory fanfare at the end of each battle.

Hmmm...I wonder if I could get it played at my funeral. Just as I roll off into the crematorium furnace...

Legend of Mana hits PSOne Classics this week

Mar 21st 2011 3:42PM (Joystiq)
Man, I seem to have developed some sort of facial paralysis where I can't stop myself from smiling since reading this headline.

Legend of Mana has long been a guilty pleasure of mine for a number of years - Ever since a friend of mine hooked me up with an import copy many years ago.

I keep a modified PSone in my bedroom drawer just for such occasions as when I want to watch the awesome opening intro. I really hope the digital version makes it's way to the UK PSN store.
