Deleting apps from the iPhone

Personally, I'd like to see something in Settings.app where you could turn official apps on or off, similar to the way you could customise the main menu on older iPods.

id's Hollenshead: Apple "has not followed through" on gaming

$1m is pocket change when it comes to triple-A game development.

Not to mention that when Half-Life 2 was released (2004), Apple was still using PowerPC processors.

As far as gaming on the Mac goes, isn't it less pressing now that we can run Windows natively?

Aren't you limited to one per person (Or is that just here in the UK)? If so, some of them (at least) clearly aren't interested in the device if they want to give up their phone for a presidential candidate.

Analysts: Macs will continue to take market share from PCs

It's just that their 'analysis' is redundant. This has been a trend for some while now, so it only becomes important when it slows (significantly) or reverses.

Ok, that was hilarious: please ignore what I put in the previous comment (1Password decided to fill in the comment section, not just username & pass... I should know better).

ANYWAY

Anyone else catch the Office Space reference in the picture?

For megatrebuchet's question, I'd like to recommend LogMeIn – they offer a free version and it's incredibly easy to use.

Used it the other day to set up my sister's new laptop from 50 miles away.

Elgato gets my vote too. Got an EyeTV Diversity hooked up to my MBP and it's brilliant.

Software's great too (using EyeTV 3 - bought the tuner just before the new year, free upgrade was mighty nice :D).
