If that silly little message I got after the credits is any indication, there will be single player DLC, probably just won't take place after the ending is all.

I'm right there with you. I finished it up about an hour ago and now have no idea what to do with myself. It's a decidedly definitive end to what is my favorite franchise this console generation and perhaps my favorite franchise overall.

I mean, I get that you think the PS3 is hardcore, but please, drop the arbitrary that don't actually have any meanings.

I would like to imagine that there will still be traditional hoppers that ignore armor loadouts and what not. I think having unlockable loadouts would play more into game types like Reach's Invasion (which I would like to see expanded upon, because I do feel like there was a good start there, no matter how ignored it became).

I mean, just look at where Reach is for population at this point. It has fallen off hard. I love Halo just as much as the next guy but it does need to evolve and I'm intrigued in what 343 has to bring to the table.

Quite honestly, Alan Wake is a more couch friendly game. There is something to be said for experiencing it on a larger screen like you would a tv show, and it also lent itself well to being a game others could watch along with.

When Activision reboots the franchise with a new engine I won't bitch, but just because the franchise makes money doesn't mean they're going to have a $200 million budget, nor does such a budget mean the game is going to be any good...

And even if it is good it doesn't suddenly change how I feel about the current games.
