From this article http://features.teamxbox.com/xbox/1464/Most-Wanted-Unannounced-Xbox-360-Games/p10/ and others Rallisport Challenge 3 is in the works and just hasn't been announced yet. Also look for MS/MGS to put XSN back together again or something similar since their (no compete sports) "deal" with EA has now all but run its course..
Sony as a CONTENT provider I believe is what alot of people are missing on the PS3 online platform.. That is the biggest difference right now between XBL and the upcoming PSonline. Whereas MS develops and produces frontend and backend products and really if you think about it and look at it weather they actually create something for the consumer market with a MS label or they create something that they may hold a patent or copyright to etc. they still end up winning and making money even if it may take years, whereas Sony is more into consumables where they MUST show dollars and numbers every quarter and as such they have much more to lose, and they are based out of Japan and they DO not accept failure no acceptions also they have their hands in many more cookie jars which is hard to believe that a company could possibly be "bigger" then MS but look at the actual holdings of Sony compared to MS sometime.
So someone is finally reporting and seeing the light on Sony's gaming and online strategy. Why is it that no one can or wants to see what is actually staring at them right in their faces ? For almost 2 years no one believed the PS3 would ever possibly be over $400 and well who'd a thunk it gee guess how much it's gonna be.. Sony has already publicly said their games would NOT be the current prices that games are right now but that they would "try" not to go as high as $99 so I guess until you actually see the price at checkout being $79-$89 for the PS3 games no-one will believe that either.. Sony has already shown many screenshots and videos of their "free" online showing many of their games with "micro"transactions already in place. Close to all PS3 titles won't be able to played to their fullest capabilities without a broadband connection and micro-transaction so how free is their online exactly ??
Without a question I'd say that 2K7 is the better game, graphically though EA's NHL07 has 2K smoked hands down. I just wish they would stop changing button layout schemes every other year or give us the option to do our own button mapping, I'm just so used to having the aim button on the right stick. I for one feel that not just NHL 2K7 but most games in general need to back off on button layouts, just how many button combinations do you really need, but maybe I'm just old school..
