USAA's Deposit@Mobile app puts check deposits a mug shot away

@Chuckles McGee

"No ATM fees ever"

Hey Chuckles, since when does the bank that you bank with charge you a fee for using their own ATM machine?

Care to mention on your misleading USAA ad that USAA ONLY re-imburses you on the first 10 NON-USAA ATM withdrawals, or up to $15 worth of those ATM fees, which ever comes first, per account per month? Thank you!

Firmware 2.43 now available to download

@ Graeme Byers:

I have a Samsung 720/1080i. I'm not exactly sure that a $1600 plasma set sucks balls though. Anyway, I'm looking to sell it and get me a $2200 LCD to see if the problem gets fixed. I was able to correct most of the bleeding by reformating the HD and adjusting the settings on the console and tv and now the pink color bleed is sporadic. I would have exchanged the ps3 but my local store don't have any more of the 60GB.

Does a handgun fit in the security box?.

*visualizes a handgun and a couple magazines comfortably fitting inside the GTAIV security box*

"That's a lot of "moneyhats" for rockstar to throw out "

Hey, you ever heard of corporate greed? didn't think so either. When the stakes are in the millions of dollars that will be raked in, bring all the 'moneyhats' you can eat. You gotta be kidding me. It all about how many millions of $ in profit and how fast. I agree that Rockstar works very hard at their craft and have a good ip in GTAIV, and they want their hard work to liquidate into their cuadrillion dollars in profit on day 1 and then some more, not next quarter. after all they have investors to feed with $-$-$ and fast.

"I'm guessing with your name you wouldn't mind if MGS 4 was earning 10s across the board though.

And that's were you drove off the cliff. I'm not a fan boy of anything, specially video games. The End. You want me to defend products on message boards like you just did? fucking pay me!. About MGS4, I just cannot convey to all the readers how much I don't care if that game gets whatever score it's going to get. It if gets nothing but 10's from all these "exclusive" reviews, I'm going to opine similarly to what I expressed above about GTAIV. If MGS4 will be labeled weak sauce, then I might catch it in the bargain bin some day along with a PS3. Till then, try not to label the book by its cover. I pulled that name out of a hat, if you know what I mean.

(I posted this comment for the wrong article b-4)

I think all these websites that leaped out with a 10 of 10 are not worth their salt. It's a marketing ploy between Rockstar and those websites that gave a 10 in return for having first dibs on the game to generate traffic to their sites and what not. It looks like a win/win situation for those parties. I just don't think that Rockstar would let any game reviewers that govern themselves review the game before release day as it's in the developers interest to have these game "review" sites spit nothing but 10 of out of 10 after 10 out of 10 so the easily hyped fall like dominoes to buy the game at midnight and beyond when it launches. I will definitely get the game over the weekend but this marketing hype is just not working at all on me.

Don't expect a split-screen patch for UT3 on PS3

Don't expect a split-screen patch for UT3 on PS3

Apr 21st 2008 10:45PM (Joystiq)
"To compensate, he says they "should be happy" that they have user-generated mod support."

So then, the title to this article should have read... 'Sony says, Don't expect a split-screen patch for UT3 on PS3. Mwahaha.'

GTA IV Poll results: Achievements, DLC put 360 ahead

Apr 14th 2008 12:35PM (Joystiq)
I missed those polls but I'll get it for the PS3 when the MGS4 PS3 bundle comes out. I have never played enough XBL to get my $'s worth, so I don't have XBL Gold nor do any of my adult friends. For me, playing with friends or strangers on Live is out the window and extra DLC is not a deciding factor when you take over a year just to flip a game. So I just finished cleaning house of my ps2 system and most of those games to pre-order GTA4 on PS3 and immediately halt cross platform title acquisitions on the 360 due to fear of the rings. Two close friends have been shot down by the rings very recently and my # may be up next since I have had my system the longest (1.4 years) so I don't want to be too vested in cross platform games on the 360 for when the rings come knocking.
