Agreed. Sadly, parents and kids are too into keeping up with the jones that they risk there kids not learning the value of a dollar or how to manage their time/money and actually working hard for something. I'm afraid for the next several generations. I believe they'll make generation X look like semi-saints.

This is the most unprofessional article I've ever read on AOL. This is just your little rant cause your utopia of a life image is ruined by modern technology. Sexting has been going on since cell phones with cameras. It's just back then kids wouldn't show other kids the pictures, but they would tell them about them and no one would believe them. Also I believe sexting isn't a self-respect issue it's just cries to be popular and get attention, cause honestly if these kids thought of the consequences down the line even years from now, they wouldn't do it. I like MTVs campaign, "There's a thin line between him and the whole school." But all and all the headline is very misleading and I wasted my time reading this. All I learned is that kids at Perry Middle School are sleazy and you are extremely bias. That's what you pretty much stated. And my final note is that farther down the line people won't care and elect these people cause believe it or not sexting is extremely common. Your son and daughter could be sexting and you'd have no idea. I'm Catholic as well, and I'm pretty sure the church won't appreciate you even putting the word Catholic in this article.
