Gaming to Go: Crosswords DS

Jan 19th 2009 7:53PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
This game really let me down. You have to play endless hours of beginner crosswords - with repeated clues - just to unlock the normal/actual crosswords. I stopped playing the game after spending 3 hours with clues like "opposite of left" and "red, white and...". All this praise makes me think I was the only one that actually played it.

The NY Times game was much better.

Nintendo dates Pikmin port, names other Play on Wii titles

Mario Tennis? Yes please! That's surely going to be a blast.

Hopefully not the last update on Last Flight

How could that possibly be done tastefully? Please, humour me.

WRUP: Expand your vocabulary edition

May 9th 2008 3:12PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
i've got the biggest backlog ever. i remember buying zelda when that came out, got about half way through when advanced wars came out. when the world ends with you came out i was about a quarter way through with advanced wars. i'm picking up crosswords ds today, after only having played the world ends with you for two days. i'm hoping crosswords ds keeps me as occupied as the other stellar budget title, picross ds (which is one game i actually did finish).

Finally! A confirmation for SimCity DS in the US just confirmed that I'll be spending more and more time with my DS.

Mortal Kombat coming to the DS

I'd rather have a Street Fighter, or even a new Ninja Turtles game.

Super Mario Bros. goes virtual reality

That was one of the greatest things I have seen to date.

DS Daily: The new book?

Jan 23rd 2007 11:19AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I prefer a good book over a copy of Hotel Dusk any day (even though I am looking forward to the latter).

A book just feels right, and it's not a strain on the eyes for prolonged periods of time.

EA announces Theme Park DS

Nov 30th 2006 5:02PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Frankly I'm getting quite annoyed that great games like Sim City and now Theme Park (one of my favorites) are not getting any American releases.

I guess I have to import now.

A DS game for the emotional

I would totally invest in this title...only if it had some quirky mini-games.
