Although I am unsure how this came about I think several whiners know nothing about the game making/programing procedure. Say its a month before gold, the title in in QA, it has 12 chapters and is complete in budget and time frame. Some developers have time are now being tasked with starting the DLC which has a seperate budget and time-frame, they have an idea to put two new chapters in, the assets and work for the chapters wont be completed until months after the game goes gold but they come to their lead and suggest that putting in two corrupted memory's would be cool.

Games have budgets and time-frames, rather then thinking all DLC has been left out of the game, why cant people understand that because of DLC we are getting more game that would may have never seen before. I'll admit some DLC is bad but the reaction this cheaply priced DLC and the ho haw over Maw's 'deleted scenes' is ridiculous.

Also Mike how can you even make a comparison to the movie industry, the movie industry not only holds material back but gets you to buy the whole product again in a directors cut or extended edition (comparable to a GOTY game) if anything DLC gives us a better model 'just' to buy the extra scenes without buying the whole game again.

I thought that was Emily Rose in the best human female(nope assassins creed 2 actress that only appears in interludes of the main game, WTF!) Not finding her there I looked in the best voice, they have Chloe?!? but no Elena?

Although I guess it saved me from picking between Nolan and Emily.

JeezWhiz87, as opposed to what? The games where you run around and hit people with swords and spells? the games that you race cars? the games where you jump on enemies heads? the games where you move people that do all of the above? The game where you build things for AI's to run around in/on? You don't like FPS, fair enough just say so, but don't make out the genre to be tired when so many other genres can be described the same way.

I am sooooo tired of people complaining about too many articles on this or that subject, wtf! Read the post title, if you don't like it scroll down, it's not rocket science. I personally can not get enough Modern Warfare coverage right now, two weeks ago I could not get enough uncharted 2 coverage, these ARE big games. If they aren't to your tastes read the next post. Is there something you think is not getting enough coverage?

This comes with the collector’s edition, if you got the collector’s edition you get more, if you want the part of the collector’s edition that is in game you pay $7 for it.

Some DLC is ridiculous I will agree, but how hard is it for people to understand there is ‘X’ budget for the game and then ‘Y’ budget for the DLC and if collectors editions or DLC did not exist we wouldn’t see this stuff at all because you would only get the game.

Good luck to all you complaining git’s that say you will buy it used instead, you get to miss out on more great stuff(Stone prisoner). I am going to go home today, put in my new copy and buy this DLC (for the actual DLC content and not the chest).
