And here I was looking forward to Snazzy Purple and Gregarious Green. They really should've done a throwback to the transparent Nintendo 64 controllers (Fire, Smoke, etc) and the Atomic Purple Gameboy.
Just what I wanted to do - have to pay MORE money to advance more levels in a game that I've already paid for. It's not enough that the majority (if not all) of the things listed should've just come as an update seeing as most of them are an additive on to a system that's already in place.
You know, I might have been able to look over this had it been more maps, or if the multiplayer had been actually patched first regarding balance and technical issues (mainly involving game crashes.) But seeing as I now see that their main focus is on attaining more money rather than increasing the quality of play - I see where their loyalties lie, and they can ogle upon my gracious "under the butt nut hut" if they think I'm willing to pay for this shenanigan of an excuse of downloadable content.
Yea, they're his opinions, and he's voicing them. Simply because everyone doesn't agree that Little Big Planet is overly fun and has a highly sustainable fun value, you down-vote them? I can understand even if he was saying it was absolutely horrid and unplayable, but he even said it was fun - calm down, sensitive much?
They pretty much left it along the lines of: you can pay for new maps, if you have the map and you host a game, your friends don't have to pay for that map to play in your game. But if your friends would like to host a game with that map, they will have to purchase said map to do so.
I'm sure they will also undoubtedly have aesthetics you can buy for your car(s) similar to the way you can customize your avatar. I wouldn't doubt it if the also threw in some racing-involved avatar achievements either. What would really get me is if there were a map editor, I would probably pay for something like that, of course naysayers would probably relate it too much to Little Big Planet or Mod Nation Racers, but seriously, in the interest of distribution of fun I think they can settle likeness if it's a free game with optional micro-transactions.
