Ok, I think they did a really good job in Campain. Much better than first one.

Here is where they messed it up BIG TIME. Multiplayer!! What did they do with the mechanics of the game?? It just doesn't feel right and snappy like the first one. Seems like there's a lag between the time you press the button and the time it takes for the gun to fire...and no it is not the connection, it's a local game.
Another thing I found annoying is the granades stuck behind walls. I can't even see them because they are on the other side of the wall and they still kill me?! That's just killing the fun and the rush of the game.
Too bad....very disappointed with Multiplayer! I guess I will try it a little more to see if I can get used to it, but looks like I will have to go back to playing Gears 1.

Well, I'm on the list of Halo 3 players. Although I agree that Halo 3 is not as impressive as Gears of War. Halo just happens to be a lot of fun to play, and so is Gears of War. Halo is just a bit faster and has vehicles (which are so much fun).
Once I play Halo3 enough, I will probably be playing 50/50 of Halo and Gears. They are both awesome games...but if I had to pick only one, I think I would stay with Gears of War.

PGR4 should be awesome. I just can't get into FORZA 2...no in-car view and is way too slow for a racer.
DIRT and PGR4 should be the best two racers for the console for some time (assuming PGR4 will get motorcycles right).
Motorcycles will be an awesome and risky change for the PGR series. Take Test Drive Unlimited as an example of what NOT to do with Motorcycles.

Definitely taking the long weekend to finish The Darkness, then pickup a copy of DIRT as well (if I find it in store, which hasn't been the case for the last few days..sold out on most places)

Looks like a fun game to play with the kid. I guess if I win I will not have to go spend $69 +tax on DIRT to spend time on a rainy weekend! :)

Looks like the game will only be available in Canada on the 9th, that's at least what the stores have been saying.

Emergence Day!!! Can't wait to go grab a copy of GoW. Although...I forgot...my XBOX360 was sent for repair last week, and I still haven't got the replacement back from MS. Hopefully it will arrive today or tomorrow!

Neh, just another 360 piece of hardware to send in for repair/exchange. I wonder what the new error codes will be for this one?!

It seems that all the people who get a "refurbished" XBOX360 (that's what the exchanged XBOX360's are) continually have problems again and again. Has anyone got an exchange and didn't have problems on the next 4 months on the exchanged machine?

To #16: If your warranty is gone, they will make you pay $150 to have it replaced. And...you may have to pay shipping yourself as the policy seems to be changing...at least for some people/places.
