Fire Emblem: Awakening's brand new, way Japanese trailer
Feb 22nd 2012 10:39AM (Joystiq)I recently started putting emulators on my Galaxy S II for SNES, Gameboy Advance, Playstation, and Gameboy Colour.
Using touch screen D-Pads and buttons is hardly ideal for most games on those systems (or really any system); but for RPG's, which rarely require precise or immediate motion, the onscreen controls seem to work more than well enough.
I'm hoping games like Golden Sun and Final Fantasy IV and Paper Mario can tide me over for a while, but maybe I should just bite the bullet and pick up a designated portable. After all, 'man does not live on classic emulated RPG's alone' and the more I see titles like uncharted and wipeout on the vita, or fire emblem or Mario 3d Land on the 3ds, the more tempting their calls become. Thoughts?

Sep 28th 2009 10:48PM (Joystiq)If you're really passionate about playing long sessions, you might want to save up for a $30 dock as well, which would allow for both charging and video out at the same time.
Not exactly as cost effective, as a psp 3000 which uses seperate cables for charging and video out, but if you simply must have a go and must have dual shock 3 support and video out and charging, the Go it's the only way to do that.
And quite frankly, if you're considering a Go, I doubt the additional $30 should bother you that much.
