I liked this much better than the MS interview. Sony seemed to beat around the bush less(to some degree) and was less secretive than Peter Moore was.

It seems to me, they made the game as real as could be without it being boring, which is a good thing in my book.

I was actually thinking the same exact thing when I started hearing about this fiasco a couple of days ago when the PS3 was launched in Japan. It's actually kind of scary how similar the circumstances the characters in the book and real life are.
