Child: Tell me another story about the shepard.
Grandpa: Did you buy the DLC?
Child: No...
Grandpa: Then go to bed.

Mass Effect 3 director defends DLC, endings with 'common sense'

@Nterlude

As someone who had to do unspeakable things to secure a Collector's Edition, I feel that the DLC should have been free to those that bought the game new (like the Cerberus Network from ME2). To me, the DLC feels like it was cut from the final game rather than added in as a bonus.

Mass Effect 3 director defends DLC, endings with 'common sense'

To me, the DLC character seems a lot more integrated into the game then Kasumi or Zaeed from ME2 who basically just have their intros and loyalty missions and then barely say a word the rest of the game. By contrast, Javik has a lot of unique, context specific dialogue on various missions, on the normandy, and even interacts with some of the other squad members quite a bit. While he isn't integral to the plot or anything, it really does feel like they cut him out of the game rather than added him in.

Mass Effect 3 standard edition contains reversible FemShep cover

It's cool to see that Bioware did a little something extra for the fans. I get the feeling that if EA had had their way, the reversible cover would have cost extra and included another DLC code.

Ironically, I do most of my mobile gaming at home and very much so immobile (in the bathroom).

Mine smells like eggnog and pine, but only because it's Christmas time.
