Sadly that promotion is over... if you want pub games, then you have to fork over 800 MS points for it :(

Best part of this post: The "manservant" youtube link. When I was younger I loved to lock that old fuck in the fridge! Got a nice 3am laugh out of that one... Cheers!

lol they are not showing the lips performance on gamespot due to "circumstances beyond our control"

Aka, lips isn't really in top form just yet.. but I still think it has potential.

Joyswag: Win the Call of Duty 4 'Variety Map Pack'

Apr 6th 2008 2:56PM (Joystiq)
I would love to say a map from some fifteen year old game, but I'd be lying... today's maps are so much more complex/well designed.

For that reason, I'm gonna go with Overgrown in COD4

XM / Sirius merger approved!

What we also have to remember the main reason which monopolies are bad: they make it nearly impossible for "the little guy" to compete, as it would be impossible to take on an industry giant without monumental backing.

Well, this happens to be a situation where a little guy doesn't exist: nobody is about to launch a garage-born satellite radio company. If the industry was lucrative enough to support multiple competitors, these companies wouldn't need to merge... but it isn't, due to the incredible amount of options todays consumer has regarding media consumption.

Hopefully, the giant formed will maintain their top selling points, and not destroy their selling points of highly limited commercial interruption and a-la-carte pricing structure. If executed properly, this merger will be great for both the companies and consumers.

Admitted murderer's lawyer brings up video games in defense

Even if he wasn't living in "another world"... he most surely will be when he moves to that nice penitentiary cell in the l33t wing!

I hope this guy gets life. Its obvious he suggested this defense to his attorney, and if our justice system still works, then it will fail him worse than an original NES front-loader.

Today only: Halo 3 Legendary for $60 on Amazon

Nov 27th 2007 4:05PM (Joystiq)
The Best Buy in my town still has approximately 15 Legendary Editions in stock, which have been sitting there since the game launched... they're on clearance for the low-low price of $89.99 (which is also the price they went for with the employee discount).

Microsoft obviously over estimated the demand for this uber-edition, produced too many units, and now the retailers are paying for that mistake.

If they would have just charged $100 in the first place it, this all could have been avoided.

Today only: Halo 3 Legendary for $60 on Amazon

Thankfully I got my order in before going to class... although I already own Halo 3, this deal was too sweet to pass up.

Note: According to my order status page, it says this item will arrive AFTER Christmas day, which is a bummer to anybody who was planning to use it as a present.
