Time for a very Venture update!

Jul 3rd 2006 7:05PM (AOL TV)
This show is the best show.

That's all.

The Simpsons: Another Simpsons Clip Show

Jun 15th 2006 10:45AM (AOL TV)
According to the DVD commentaries, the network forced the Simpsons' creators to do the clip shows to make the seasons longer. They really didn't want to do them.

Korgoth of Barbaria: Pilot

Jun 5th 2006 3:51PM (AOL TV)
I'm right with you on this, Adam. The show's a straight-up genre parody much like the Venture Bros. is, and if they can keep up the creatively funny violence (and there were some pretty good one-liners too), I'll keep watching it.

Short-Lived Shows: The Chimp Channel

May 29th 2006 12:52AM (AOL TV)
I can only think of one funny moment from the show that I can remember: a parody of Armageddon where it was made into a TV series. They showed the "first episode" where chimp heroes had to stop an asteroid, and then there was the preview for the next one:

"The asteroid is back. And this time, it's got a gun."

Lost: Live Together, Die Alone (finale)

May 25th 2006 2:40AM (AOL TV)
KLRMNKY:

Look at the job listings and you'll see that some letters are a light gray rather than black. Rearrange those letters and you'll get the phrase "Inmate Asylum." (Note the space.) Use that as the password in the new Board of Directors section of the Hanso Foundation website (under "Executive Bios") after you've logged in and you'll see some new stuff from Persephone.

Venture Bros. DVD special feature

May 16th 2006 1:37AM (AOL TV)
I was pretty much sold already, but after seeing that I definitely have to get these DVDs. I wonder if there will be any info on the discs about when the new season will start? I'm jonesin'.

King of the Hill: Church Hopping

Apr 10th 2006 12:55PM (AOL TV)
I don't get to watch King of the Hill all that regularly, but when I do, I think it's refreshing. I especially liked last night's episode, and for one main reason: it depicted the people at the megachurch as people who simply have a difference of preference. It would have been really easy to make them evil or megalomaniacal or greedy (and probably a lot of other shows would have done just that), but the show went a much more realistic way and made Hank's problems with the spectacle of it a lot more understandable and human. The pastor was even a really understanding and relatable character, not a caricature. Go figure.

Live 24 Chat Location

Mar 6th 2006 9:16PM (AOL TV)
I have it on pretty good authority that Jack Bauer's going to be taking on ALF in hour 17. What a showdown that'll be!

The Five: Forgotten on Sesame Street

Feb 9th 2006 8:40PM (AOL TV)
Everybody always forgets about Telly.

What's a better name than "The CW"?

Jan 24th 2006 7:58PM (AOL TV)
The WWB, Dancing Frog/Talking Bunny, Gilmore Central, or maybe Bugs and Leslie.
