This is how you beat down this suit from Sony. Sony is essentially claiming that they own your PS3 hardware and you are purchasing a license to use it. If that is truly the case, when their PS3 breaks, shouldn't they be responsible to bare the cost fixing or replacing it?
The real issue here is that with homebrew, Sony doesn't make money. They don't want any program running on the computer system they designed that doesn't make them money. If you watch the prices of games that come out for all 4 systems (PC included) you will notice that the price of the PC version drops a lot faster than the other systems. This is because the developer/publisher must PAY Sony, Microsoft, and Nindendo to have their software run on their respective computer devices.
I am really looking forward to seeing how this plays out in court. This trial will not just be about GeoHotz, it's about the future of the console industry and it will decide who owns what, and who is responsible for what. I can only pray that they get a judge that knows computers and how they work, and not some crusty idiot that can't figure out how to turn it on.
The best MMO accessory for me is the Logitech G13 board. No jumping from movement keys to skill keys. The thumbstick controls my movement, and all my keys are right under my fingers.
This could kick ass. Remember, she is playing an assassin. They're small, and move quick, which is what she looks to be doing in this. Really looking forward to seeing this.
I generally play the high DPS melee class. Champion in LotRO, Smuggler in Star Wars Galaxies, or Rogue in WoW. I like to get up close, and kill things quick. I find it better for soloing, which I tend to do a lot because of the times that I can play (usually very late at night, after most of the world has gone to bed).
So, 3G, huh. Let's look at other 3G devices that aren't phones. IPad, Galaxy Tab, etc. You can either pay a ridiculous entry cost, or get it with a 2 year contract to a carrier and pay a slightly less ridiculous cost. How much you want to bet that Verizon and AT&T will be the only ones selling these, and on a contract?
Both are good games, however I prefer LotRO. The lore is fantastic, graphics beautiful, and game mechanics that beat WoW. Besides, where else can you square off against a Nazgul or Balrog?
Yeah, I won't be supporting this one. The reason is because while there are many events for breast cancer, is there a testicular cancer awareness month? How about a 3 Day for prostate cancer? No to both. Until these get equal attention, I won't support anything for breast cancer.
