Sony can make 80,000 bricks

That was really funny up until the last paragraph. Have some faith in your audience. If people had started attacking your post for being too PS3-fanboyish, that would have been even funnier. Good post, though. Definitely.

Warm Tea: The Bully boy-on-boy kiss goes mainstream

Re: 16/otakucode

Are you honestly suggesting that peoples' opinions should determine what is or is not biological? Remember about 400 years ago when we decided that issues of science should be based on conclusions supported by reason? It was called the Enlightenment.

It is patently immoral to consider human rights issues in light of popularity or popular vote. This illogical bit of immorality has been the gateway to every human rights disaster in history, from popular support of slavery to the Holocaust.

I am disgusted.

MS/Bungie say good riddance to Fox

Sounds like MS/Peter Jackson may actually be in line to make the first ever videogame movie that doesn't suck beyond all belief. Wait, bigger than that, they may actually make the first action movie that was not shit-terrible in at least half a decade.

Tiger Woods content is cheating

Oct 17th 2006 1:21AM (Joystiq Xbox)
This is no problem whatsoever. People have been paying for cheats since the NES days. It was called a Game Genie back then, now it's called an XBL download. So what? As someone who doesn't use cheats, never owned a Game Genie, and would never pay for Tiger Woods unlockables that I didn't earn, I say make the lazy bastard cheaters pay. Maybe it will make them better gamers, after they realize how much they've spent.

CE-Oh no he didn't! Part XIII - Kutaragi sez Sony doesn't care about PS3 rivals

I think the various blogs have really framed next gen as a David vs. Goliath situation. Engadget and others continue to attempt to bait Sony into mag-selling, post count-raising, melodramatic fighting words, but Sony knows they aren't getting favorable press. If I were them I would just say fuck you as well.

They know their launch won't go very well, why display a pugnacious posture that is sure to be laughed at in a few months? The battle for next gen is a 5-7 year war, not something that will be over and done with next March. Sony is smart enough to know that blogs affect what (guessing here), 25% of early adopters' opinions, and 5% of the whole market's opinions, so why open yourself up to the tidal wave of negative publicity these blogs will generate about Sony's launch frame slip ups? It seems that "fuck you, we're better than the other consoles, we'll win" is probably the smartest PR stance they could have right now.

As a disclaimer, I own a 360 and have no plans to buy a Sony. Just calling it like I see it.

POLL: What do you want to see from the PSP in 2006?

Jan 1st 2006 9:19PM (Joystiq Playstation)
A re-design that includes:

1) Video out

2) Bluetooth, to be used for wireless headphones, wireless earpiece for Socom, and a wireless controller for when you're hooked up to a TV via video out.

These would allow the PSP to be a fixed solution at home, and a portable solution on the road. It's the same principal as hooking your laptop up to a monitor and keyboard when you get home.
