Are you having technical issues with GTA IV?
Apr 30th 2008 6:34PM (Joystiq Playstation)I only had one problem. My game froze not during the intro, but in the 2nd or 3rd mission where you drive the chick to her apartment. It froze solid along the way, except the radio kept playing. Required flipping the power switch to reboot. Worked without problem for hours afterward (besides online, of course)
Never had a PS3 game lock up like that.

And in Washington, DC, police will arrest you for DUI, give you a breathalyzer, and charge you even if you're not drunk at all, with a .01 BAC. It's all about raising money, just like speed traps. Read:

Incandescent light bulbs be to shelved by 2012 in US
Dec 24th 2007 10:47AM (Engadget)I'm shocked that so many people on Engadget fall for this fadish nonsense. You may be fine with mercury-filled, noisy, bad light flourescents, but you shouldn't be happy that the government is imposing your personal preferences on everyone else by force. Gadgets are usually not essential, perhaps they should be banned to prevent the earth from perishing? If it saves only one dolphin, isn't it worth it?
They came for my high-flow toilets, I said nothing. Then they came for my lightbulbs, I said nothing. But my Blackberry....!
Spy Shots: Lotus "Eagle"
Nov 10th 2007 8:15AM (Autoblog)Lotus has too much pride to mandate a sissy gearbox for everyone. Let's just call it what it is, an AUTOMATIC that people can pretend is "F1 inspired" with 40ms gearchanges that nobody uses 'cause automatic mode is always engaged.
It's the same as the limited slip diff in the Elise. Lotus offered it, but told every magazine it could that the option was worthless. (It's useful for autox only)

Oct 26th 2007 11:59AM (Autoblog)Second, cops don't have a "safety message." This is propaganda to cover the true purpose of traffic enforcement: raising revenue from easy targets.

British court: 150 mph on a public road without insurance isn't 'dangerous driving'
Jan 29th 2006 3:21PM (Autoblog)The statement that it's "never safe" to drive 150 on public roads is undermined by the fact that this guy didn't hurt anyone or any thing. A quick top speed test on an EMPTY road with perfect conditions is not a big deal.
