The heaviness of vehicles in the screenshots is somewhat troubling to those looking for this game to be a pure platformer, but I refuse to pass judgement until I see what Rare has done with this game. Based on the screenshots we have here, BK3 makes a case for being some sort of mish-mash of platforming and either vehicular combat, or (dare I say this?) some sort of...open world-ish game. Maybe the fact that I'm up at 2 AM is harming my brain, but what I just typed makes sense to me right now. :D

You really should care about what people like him are saying, because at the end of the day, whatever they say, wether it be truth or lies, is taken as the truth by people who religiously watch television shows like this. The sad fact of the matter is that I'm sure his voice reaches more people than this blog does.

And by not knowing what the opposition is saying, you're making yourself look like a retard, like him. Seriously, anyone who knows anything about video games or blogs was probably thinking, "Wow, this man has no idea what he is talking about, and he is making a complete fool out of himself". Do you know who doesn't think that he made a fool out of himself? The other people who have never heard of the book Grand Theft Childhood or any of the studies that say that there isn't any reason to mark video games as satanic.

You're a fool. People with opinions like yours are the reason why we're bashed constantly. We never get a chance to stand up for ourselves in the same way that our hobby is constantly bashed by mainstream media as something that should be kept out of the hands of children because it is the equivalent of smut. And now that EA and people like Sessler and Keighley are actually setting the record state, you don't like it. I don't understand why you would want to just drop this issue when Fox news blatantly lied about Mass Effect in order to inform the little news sheep out there that video games are still the most terrible things on the planet.

I personally applaud efforts like this, and I don't think we should rest until we get an official, public apology from FOX news. And not just public for us...public for their entire viewing audience.

My favorite moment with Xbox Live would have to be all the long late nights spent with new games...Halo 3 in particular, I stayed up for 8 hours (midnight to 8 AM) to play that guy.

He was referring to the Pacman controls being impossible, and they are. I'm great at Pac Man, but I can't play it with the crap D-pad on the 360 controllers. I did just buy a black controller though, and the D-Pad feels slightly tighter than in my white controllers, so maybe they're getting fixed a bit.

I honestly am not super excited about this game, but I probably will get it. I'm an XBLA junkie.

You CAN do that already. When you look at a friend's gamertag, if the bar on where their tag is shown is gold, they have gold, and if it is silver, it's a silver account.

This update is literally worthless to me, as all of my friends use AOL IM. A part of my wants Microsoft to stop putting all this stupid mainstream stuff into the 360 and focus on serious gamer needs (full on clan support, more people in private chats, etc.), but realistically, this is what Microsoft needs to do to pull in the mainstream. I'll put up with some of this as long as it means that we'll have more 360 owners out there.

Oh my god. I just got finished watching all of the yellow click events, and this game definitely features Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon, as the words "Splinter Cell" and "Cross Com" are mentioned specifically. I really have no idea which takes precedence though, because the main game storyline makes it seem like you will take the role of a general of some sort. Maybe this suggestion is a bit out there, but could this be an RTS? I can't wait to find out more about this game.

I went wii60 (before the term was even created, mind you) about a week before E3. I bought a 360, and bought Perfect Dark Zero and Condemned to play on it. I was hooked after my first online game in PDZ, in which I made my first XBL friend, and learned how to do all the cool chat/friend invite/game invite things that go along with the 360. It's near perfection for console online gaming (and I prefer it to PC online gaming as well).

I had planned to buy a Wii the day it was revealed at E3 '04 anyhow, and that wasn't changing, I'm an unwavering Nintendo fan. And Super Smash Bros is gamer crack.

I'm really surprised with how much I love my 360 though. I'm one of the people who Microsoft talks about when they say that not all 360 owners had an Xbox 1. Online gaming is the way to go for me. And to be honest, that's one of the things that bothers me with the Wii. I'd love it just as much as my 360, but half the online aspects of the console are just plain clunky. The other half are just plain unasked for (seriously, I don't really care about a news channel, I have a computer!). So as it stands, a former Nintendo fanboy likes his 360 more than he likes his Wii. Though, the Wii is more people friendly, with games like Wii Sports and Warioware (Warioware in particular is a blast with people).

I'd insult the PS3, but we all know everything that Sony messed up on. I'll think about buying it when games I care about happen to come out on the system (MGS4 and FF13 don't mean a THING to me, the only game I want for the PS3 is Lair).

Hey retards, this is the IGN GEAR award for best console. Basically, they gave it to the console with the most power. This post is just crafty quote editing, trying to save some face for the PS3 launch from hell. Again, this is just judging the consoles based on their technological prowess. If the PS3 DIDN'T get it, then I'd be surprised.
