I'm excited about Enemy Unknown, but am I the only one excited about the other reboot of Xcom? I've been excited for it ever since the first trailer I saw, but every new detail I hear is depressing. They're constantly changing it and/or pushing it back. I'm afraid it may turn into vaporware...

Though I do agree that there is a lot of software available due to the backwards compatibility, how does this distinguish it from the DS? The same could have been said of the DS in regards to it having a large "software catalog" due to the GBA games...
Not trying to be mean or anything, I just don't understand this statement.

Yeah, there's a chance it will be coming out around the same time as AC3. Nintendo has already confirmed that the game should be out in time for holiday sales.

Also, I agree about the tree climbing issues...still, I'm quite optimistic about this game.

Ah, good point. I hadn't thought about the fact that it hadn't been "officially" revealed yet.

Also, thought I'd point out that Ubisoft posted a countdown to something...
Dunno what it is, but the date is the anniversary of the Boston Massacre. I'm thinking that's probably relevant...somehow...

That's a really good observation. I hadn't considered that one!

I was gonna say that that far left one on the Namco dish reminded me of the color scheme for Dante...but then I realized that I was looking at the Namco dish and not the Capcom one.
Also, one thing that is really standing out to me is how the middle one on the Sega dish has that yellow-green band on the upper-right branch, when every other "chromosome" is symetrical. It's almost like a bracelet...

Really? They react to you that much? That's pretty cool. I've debated for a long time about getting one of these games, but it just makes me feel awkward knowing I'd be playing an advanced version of a Giga Pet.
